ABS extrudes "zig zag" MBREP2
Hi,
I own a Makerbot Replicator 2 and upgraded it with an aluminium heatbed with glas plattform, a hood and acrilic "windows".
When I use PLA everything works fine, but today I used ABS for the first time and got a strange "zig zag" pattern.
After about a minute it extrudes normal again. I tried out different heating settings, but couldn't figure out why this happens.
My settings:
Extruder 225C
Platform 100C
Has anyone experienced this before?
Thank you,
Thomas

Howdy
this "zig zag" pattern happen when there is not sufficient tension inside nozzle.
Filament load before print usualy solve this issue.

Thanks for the answer!
It was the leveling, because I leveled the plattform like I was used to when it was cold, but the springs underneath the plattform seem to change due to the thermal change of the new heating bed. So the hot building plattform was suddenly far away from the nozzle. After leveling it with the hot plattform it works now
Printing time- Is this right?
