Makerbot Replicator first print failure
I'm brand new to 3D printing and just got a Makerbot Replicator at work. Trying it out for the first time, this was the result:

The extruder kept hitting the material that was already deposited. Error 46 showed up on the LCD screen, but the makerbot support site doesn't list this error. I tried to restart, but many other errors appeared. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks!

What slicer are you using? It might be how you've set up your slicer?

I'm using the Makerbot slicer, all default values. This was the first print straight out of the box.
