Pawsthetics: 3D Printed Prosthetics For Pets
An Indiegogo campaign called Pawsthetics was just launched to help raise funds for a new nonprofit business created to 3D print prosthesis and assistive devices for pets with special needs. They are seeking $50,000 to start up the charity, and the campaign is using the flexible funding option so every dollar will go directly to helping the charity grow. The goal is to help pets and pet owners who do not have the resources, expertise or money to afford the devices that can help their pets live happy and healthy lives. You can find out more about this awesome charity over on 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/109459/pawsthetic...rint-for-pets/

That is certainly a great idea, since the use of 3D printed prosthetics is growing every day. I definitely agree that 3D printed prosthetics are the best way to go because they affordable, accessible, and completely customizable. Check out some of the best prosthetic stories here--my favorite is the toucan!: https://mylocal3dprinting.com/blog/t...ories-of-2015/
Soon enough, 3D printers will make their way into the medical industry and benefit thousands of animals in need of prosthetics. I hope the Pawsthetics program succeeds!
