Frigidaire Part - Too complex need scanned
I have a Frigidaire Refrigerator with a broken water dispenser lever.
It's a bit complex to be designed (well, it would take a lot of time I think) so I was wondering what the chances are of having it digitized?
Does Office Depot or Staples or any of those type places have a Scanner ?
Do you think the scan would be accurate enough to print a working copy?

Remember that it only needs to be functional, commercial products are often a lot more complex than they need to be in order to save material and therefore money.

Depending on what section of the lever broke, you may be able to repair it using an epoxi or 3D support structure. As an HVAC/R HA tech. I know those assm. can be expensive to replace.

scans are fine for figurines and things like that but not mechanical parts. you need an actual 3d model designed in cad.
