Frigidaire Part - Too complex need scanned

I have a Frigidaire Refrigerator with a broken water dispenser lever.

It's a bit complex to be designed (well, it would take a lot of time I think) so I was wondering what the chances are of having it digitized?

Does Office Depot or Staples or any of those type places have a Scanner ?

Do you think the scan would be accurate enough to print a working copy?

I'm curious to see what you consider too complex to design. Post a photo...

Remember that it only needs to be functional, commercial products are often a lot more complex than they need to be in order to save material and therefore money.

    ?
    Did you check at thingiverse.com,
to see if they have a slicer file that will work ?

If they don't have the exact one, there may be one you can modify ?

Depending on what section of the lever broke, you may be able to repair it using an epoxi or 3D support structure. As an HVAC/R HA tech. I know those assm. can be expensive to replace.

scans are fine for figurines and things like that but not mechanical parts. you need an actual 3d model designed in cad.
