One Teacher Is Trying to 3D Print Assistive Fitness Equipment for Disabled Children
Physical fitness educator Joe Kabes has developed an assistive physical education system that helps students with special needs participate in sports and other fitness activities. The Overcomer system includes a plastic frame that can be attached to several different types of assistive devices like wheelchairs, walkers, braces and gait trainers and a variety of gaming and sports attachments. Kabes has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise the necessary funds to help pay for patents, legal fees and to develop needed 3D printed prototypes to attract investors. You can read more about the Overcomer on 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/106773/3d-print-a...ve-kids-equip/
