Best Filaments
Can someone make recommendations on filaments that work really well with the FFCP ?

I've had great luck with ESUN from hobbyking, black and white PLA.

Hatchbox is my favorite. I've never had any issues with any of their filaments. The prints always look great, and it's affordable.

I don't know where you're located. My favorite (by a long ways) is ESUN's PETG and I get it via Amazon. I own one of every color of their PETG now.

1.75 is easier to feed and melt due to the cross section of the filament, so most have migrated to that size.

REALLY dumb question.....the two filament guide tubes, where they go into the print head.... are they supposed to be a really good fit or just kinda sort push in the hole but can come out very easily?
And what are the two spring loaded levers on each side for? Do you push them down to feed the filament through?
