How hot can I print with my creator x - 2014 model
I have no clue.
I'm currently printing some MYMat nylon at 260 - and that's working fine.
In fact at 79% of A decent sized carabiner - there's no warp and the print looks spot on. A first for me with nylon.
And I do mean absolutely no warp.
bed temp 60, extruder 260 open printer, printing to gluestick. Nylon - NO WARP !
Hot diggity.
But how hot can i print ?
I can't find it listed anywhere on the flashforge site.
I do know my klic-n-print will go to 280, but that has slightly different extruders.

There's a temperature limit built into the sailfish firmware that is likely run on your FFCP. I think it fixes the maximum extruder temperature at 280 C. I remember asking one of the creators of the firmware how to increase the limit; he said he doesn't advise it because some of potential fire hazards related to the wires for the extruder heating elements.

okay - so 280 for both. Cool :-)
More than enough.
The MyMat nylon extrudes great at 260 and the polymaker polycarbonate I'e got should extrude at a similiar temp.Last edited by curious aardvark; 10-28-2015 at 02:57 PM.
