Paint then epoxy or epoxy then paint?
Hey guys,
First post here, wanted to get some opinions. I need to finish a piece I have printed in PLA real nice for an exhibition. Ive got some Z-poxy, some plastic primer and some white finishing enamel to do the job.
I'm wondering if I should paint it first, then epoxy or the other way around?
Cheers,

Ok with the epoxy you dont need the primer. Epoxy is a primer and the best thing for bonding to most plastics. Pla is not a hard to stick to plastic so no worries with that. Get enough epoxy on it to build it up higher than all the layer lines. Let cure, sand smooth with 320-400 grit paper then paint it.
Printer will print perfect...
