    and here's your second one


    Ok still some way to go yet before it's working, as has been mentioned controlling the extra axis could be a little tricky, would be cool if someone figures out how to use a brushless gimbal board with Ramps or other controller.

    Of course I need a rotating unit for the 4th axis, and need to rotate the Y axis 90 degrees, but I'm waiting on a few parts before I can complete the Y and second Z axis

    Because I lost both my thumbs in a drone attack.

    I realize it's probably not the way to do it, but was working on the gimbal before the printer, and the thought of software contol of the pan & tilt came up. 2axis boards are very cheap, though not much cheaper than a Ramps, but its a self contained unit. Some 32bit,

    So if it was possible it would have to sync somehow, but just for controlling position of pan & tilt not for acting like a gimbal, but steppers probably have an easier time holding position.

    but i dont have a degree in robotics, so a little more experimentation needed. Would like to get familiar with Mach 5 and some alternate stepper drivers.

    I wonder how it would work with materials that are not stiff and that could be affected by gravity, (droop/sag) or wobble due to thin design. Making sure the print sticks to the bed would be challenging as well I'm sure.
