3D figure articulated joints
I'm printing the Kitbash NiQ 3D articulated figure and the joints that use a hook over connection are too loose. I was wondering if adding a rubber sealant would cure this by introducing a resistance to the joint. Has anyone done anything like this for articulated joints? I could print the hinges at a slightly different scale - 101% or 102% - but that would then present problems elsewhere.

I'm not sure, but I saw one model on ThingiVerse that called for putting heatshrink over the ball end of a ball and socket joint which seems like a similar idea, so if you could get a sealant to stay put under wear, it might work.

There was recently on this forum an article about a soldering support "3rd hand". The articulated joints were available in 2 designs : with or without rubberized finish. You should look it up, measure and see ... or ask him advice. http://3dprint.com/63273/pcb-workstation-articulated/
