New LeapFrog Creatr XL Released - Build Height of 600mm!

Leapfrog just release a new 3D Printer. It is called the Creatr XL, and it is XL. It has a build height of 600mm!

What do you think? Is a build size like this needed? What is better, the Replicator Z18 or the Creatr XL?

I was at first really enthused by the Z18 but its various limitations really add up to me in the end :
    - single material
    - single extruder
    - very high cost.
The Creatr XL seems cheaper to me and has a tad more possibilities :
    - support material or bi color
    - slightly bigger build
True enough, the Creatr doesn't seem to feature some welcome points like auto bed levelling or smart print head.

Both OEM still have the possibility to surprise us !

I agree. I think I'd probably go for the Creatr XL over the Z18. It's really the namebrand that you are paying for with the Z18, and the reputation that MakerBot has.

Actually I got a mail from the Leapfrog and they told me the Creatr XL has auto print bed levelling.
Any one of you has one ? How is it doing ?
