GlobalFSD Coming to America
Global Filament Sample Depot, or GlobalFSD, is based in the UK and has allowed customers in Europe to easily acquire samples of close to 100 filaments from manufacturers around the world, allowing makers and businesses the opportunity to easily and affordably test out different materials--samples start at just £0.95 ($1.45) and are available in 5-10 meter lengths. However, the company's reach has been limited by its European base, meaning customers across the pond had to pay high shipping rates to try out the offerings. Until now. The company has told 3DPrint.com that they have just launched a new US-based office that will ship samples directly from the United States, broadening the customer base and easy affordability to the Americas.
