A group of ex-Google engineers have developed Sinterit Lisa, what they believe to be the first, affordable desktop SLS 3D printer. Lisa will print objects with a layer thickness as thin as 0.06 to 0.15mm (2.4 to 5.9 mils) as large as 13 x 17 x 13cm (5.1 x 6.7 x 5.1in) at a pretty respectable speed of 15mm/h (0.6in/h). The printer also comes with native software called Sinterit Studio 2016, will connect to computer wirelessly and is capable of printing with multiple file types, including STL, OBJ, 3DS and FBX.
