Gigabot or not?
Anyone used the Gigabot? I want to make some larger prints, and am considering purchasing one, but can't seem to find much information from users on the reliability of the unit. Restarting a print after 8 hours stinks, having to do it after 55 hours would.. really really stink!!

I haven't bought one, but the Gigabot folks were at a symposium I went to a while ago and generously offered to print one of my tall sculptures. It seemed to go off without a hitch, and the thing came out looking good (I thought), about 15" tall. philfocactS2.jpg

You can print some large stuff on the gcreate 1.5XL+ machine they just brought out this new model. Has pretty large
build area. Not as large as the Gigabot but not sure if that Gigabot can keep that large bed level all the time.
The Rigidbot is something to look at too. They make a Big model too and their price is right
kit or ready to go.Last edited by spaceman; 08-15-2015 at 03:21 PM.
