The first 3D Printing Store location opened in Denver, Colorado in November of 2012, dedicated to bringing 3D printing technology beyond the engineering market and making it readily available to the public. The “brick and mortar store” concept was settled on to make 3D printing a consumer facing reality, says Debra Wilcox, a co-founder of the company. Now, with a pair of store expansions, the company operates from seven locations across the Midwest and Mountain states.
