Slicing Problems
Hello! So I'm having problems slicing some cookie cutters I designed. The stl looks nice and imports into makerware fine, but after slicing, the preview shows the pathing in wacky directions. For the thicker wall of the cutter, everything prints in one fluid motion. But the tapered thinner part just jumps everywhere and sometimes leaves gaps.
As you can see in the picture, the pathing is fine up until the upper thinner wall. I just don't understand what's going on.
Here's what makerware shows
Attached is the stl.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

have you actually printed it ?
paths are like that, and probably doesn't mean anything.
Also how thick are the edges ?
Realistically you can go down to 0.8mm as that's two thickenesses and is pretty strong.
1mm will also sually end up as either 0.8mm or 1mm with a gap.
I'll look at the stl file - but unless you've tried printing it, you won't know whether the pathways mean anything or not :-)
Looks absolutely fine in simplify3d.
Just print it :-)
