Large bulb of ABS filament attached to extruder (Makerbot Repllicator 2X)
I have a Makerbot Relicator 2x and have encountered an issue that I need to fix.
I irresponsibly left it unattended for ~1hr and when I returned, I found that the filament had not left the extruder properly and is now firmly attached to the extruder. Has anyone ever encountered this before and know of a way to remedy the situation?
Thanks in advance

Can you heat up the hot ends to loosen it?

Happend to me before on a printrbot. Heat the hot ends and start prying bits off with a needle nose plier.

oh yeah been there several times.
Get the extruder hot and just pull, pick and yank it all off.
Should work fine after that.
Doesn't look like you've got much there.
Printing time- Is this right?
