3D Printing in Math
Pearson Education's Caroline Miller attended a preconference session about 3D printing at the International Conference on Technology in Collegiate Mathematics to find out what all the fuss is about. She discovered, after speaking with Math professors from all over the country, that 3D printing helps ground abstract mathematical concepts in real life applications. This is why so many professors are anxious to get more printers into college classrooms. yep since startig to use openscad have to admit I've been doing alot more maths than usual. Often badly and with the wrong results :-)
