How are Clear Filaments? Has anyone used them?
Hi all -
I have some clear filament on the way for car windows and stuff like that - I am wondering if anyone can tell me how the clear is when you print it. Do you still see any anomalies at all when you print in the surface? Does it come out nice and smooth like glass?
Thank you in advance - I am just curious so I don't get disappointing results. Also, what are some of the best settings for the gcode in a printer to have paper smooth prints? Thanks!

Search the forum, there are similar threads that will answer your question. In a nutshell it seems to be entirely dependent on what you pay. The stuff I bought (cheapest off ebay) is clear on the roll but I can't get anything but white once I printed with it.

I just tried 2 sample's from FormFutura HD glass, they are boasting to be the clearest out so far. Here's a photo, you be the judge. Printed in vase mode, 0.3mm height as recommended by them
