I would think the stratasys objets were out of your price range.
The objet 30 is a pretty small print volume for a printer that i can't find a price for - just a 'click for quote'. That's always a bad sign :-)
    300 × 200 × 150 mm (11.81 × 7.87 × 5.9 in.)

You might do well to start looking at some of the newer fff machines.
    The 3dp for example retails at around $20,000 with a build volume of 1mx1mx50cm (39″ x 39″ x 19″)

They've also just introduced larger diameter nozzles for lower resolution but much faster printing.
It can print with any filament from standard abs and pla to ninjaflex.
So cheaper materials than sintered nylon - but with a huge variety to chooses from. Everything from conductive to carbon fibre strenthened to metallic finishes.

It also comes with simplify 3d - probably the best layout and slicing software around - certainly the best I've used.
And on top of that they're a great bunch of people and you definitely get the impression they care about their products.
Just don't believe the beer thing :-)

The other thing I'dlook at - ower price bracket and smaller build volume. But the ultimate in flexibility materials wise. the Hyrel http://www.hyrel3d.com/

With abudget of between 30-50,000 - I'd beinclined to get both top of the range models.

But that's just because I'd love to play with a fully specced hyrel :-)

I think the 3dp would probably fit your needs better.
