3D printing is making its presence felt all around the world as the technology truly takes off. India is seeing its local base of manufacturers rise, as companies like Cremagine pop up. Founded last year in Mumbai by Tajas Divan, Bakul Soni, and Bhavik Soni, Cremagine brings together 3D design and 3D printing with their backgrounds in jewelry making and consumer awareness. Recently, they showed off their capabilities in creating a complex, fully 3D printed Hindu temple, a Mandir, for a client. The Mandir itself was 3D printed in one piece via SLS technology and sits on a base made with FFF 3D printing, and in post-processing the Cremagine team drew upon their experience with jewelry to "bejewel" it with emeralds, rubies, cubic zirconia, and 24K gold foil.
