No more Rambos from Makerfarm
I wonder why Makerfarm dropped using Rambo's, I asked Colin, he said he just preferred the other two boards
makes me paranoid lol

Same here. Make me think there's something wrong with the board. Or is inferior in many ways. But not really all are the same. Only thing I see is less people with the rambo board in the makerfarm forum for help when you need it. Even others do help with different boards so all the same.

If the board is working fine, why worry about it?
This has been discussed before. Colin was shipping a previous version of RAMBO, not the current one. We've previously concluded he got a deal on some quantity of the older version, grabbed them, and simply ran out of that supply.
I don't recall the differences in versions being much to fret over, but the info is out there in the reprap wiki.

My guess is that he made a business decision to carry the boards that most people are asking for. Products sitting unsold on the shelf are a constant drain on resources.

He may have also quickly learned, just as we have here on the MakerFarm forum, that trying to support three different sets of electronics, with different kinds of LCDs, on different sizes of printers, can be a real PIA.
