Hi,
I am waiting for my printer, but it won't arrive for a while. I'm looking to do a few things with my printer.
1. I want to create marble runs, for artistic expression.
2. There are some interesting things I could make for the house to make my wife's life easier, such as improvements to her wheelchair and such.
3. Yes, there are some things I want to make for fun and hopefully profit.

I do some research and development for 3D Printers, for my old interest, and I also have a 3D Printer for fun and amusement. Hopefully I'll expand and maybe make some profit once things start picking up in this industry a bit more.

Right now I use 3D Printing strictly for the fun of it. However, as I get better, I plan on starting to design everyday items that I can use, and perhaps eventually sell. Not hoping to get rich off of my designs, but would like to help make some peoples lives easier.

I teach programming and robotics at a Quaker boarding school in Pennsylvania. The 3D printer is used to augment instruction in my class, and is also used by science and art students, especially those in physics, woodworking, stagecraft, ceramics, and sculpture. Students make lots of things for their robotic creations and models of their work in the art classes. Students love it! (So do I.)
