agree BUT
i use an inductive probe on one printer and an optical beam break on the i3v with a solenoid that unlocks the probe all controlled by an attiny45
this is everything for the model in the video. solidworks parts + STL's + part drawings (for people that can't open solidworks files)
not tested not printed 100% not finished most likely never will be

I assume that it would need to put pressure on the plunger against a physical endstop to get a consistant stop point, to eliminate backlash or wobble
