ZMorph Adds 3D Scanner toolhead For Their 2.0 S Personal Fabricator System
Przemek Jawoski, the CEO of ZMorph, makers of the 2.0 S Personal Fabricator System, a 3D printer, mill and laser cutting device, says the addition of the ZMorph 3D Scanner toolhead to the company's system will allow designers to refine prototype models, architects and engineers to print mock-ups and will assist doctors in preparing medical models to guide them during operations. That's slightly misleading. ( I think, could be wrong)
The z-morph fabricator system is completely seperate to the scanner.
Maybe it's powered from the machine. But it's way too large to fit inside one.
The machines are really cool, but quite small.
That said at £300 - if the scanner is standalone, I'd be extremely tempted to buy one. 30cmx30xm scan volume is plenty big enough for anything I currently want to duplicate.
I'll watch this item with extreme interest.
Printer will print perfect...
