Unilever, the parent company behind popular male care line AXE, has a well-known logo shape, which Denzinger and his design team worked with to create a 3D printed functional prototype of a product. They took an existing suction cup cord-wrapping-device and created an X-shaped product to hang AXE bath products. The prototype was so successful that Unilever asked for 50 more prototypes -- and then 500,000 actual units to sell in AXE gift sets in popular retail stores.
