Makerbot 2 : Ridge printing at 1/8th or 1/4 inch above plate.
Hey guys. This is happening consistently on 2 objects but I have yet to really see how it plays out on future projects. I still thought i'd post and see if people have some insight on this. I'm hoping it is just the nature of the objects. I'm not sure.
Basically about 1/4 of an inch up a print I'm getting a ridge in my print. You can see it here in this picture : http://i.imgur.com/sRhteeQ.jpg
What might cause this? Has anybody ran into this?

Screenshot the toolpath preview for that particular layer in MakerBot Desktop.
It may either be printing shells on top of one another, or, less likely, shifting during printing.
New to 3d printing looking for...
