Man Seeks Funding to 3D Print Prosthetic Leg Fairings
A North Carolina man named Adam White was in a motorcycle accident a couple of years ago causing him to lose his left leg (below the knee). Although he received a prosthetic device, he wants his leg as well as other military veterans' in his community to have a more human-like appearance. Prosthetic fairings are what he is after, so he has set up a Kickstarter campaign to raise enough money to purchase a MakerBot Z18 3D printer.
