A new Slicer
Just giving this a try now, am going to post some printing results later, but thought if anyone hasn't seen this might be worth a go, the customisable supports are pretty cool.
It's free...

Did you have any luck with this?
Just trying it out but it always says my printer is "Unknown" and "Busy" so won't do anything.

Looks interesting. Only saves to Gcode, so you'll have to convert if your printer doesn't read that format.

This works nice and easy to convert the gcode file to gpx (curious aardvark posted it in another thread):

I got it to work on my Dreamer. And I'm pretty happy with it. I'm using Craftware over S3D when I need a good infill.

ssayer - which firmware/printer model do you have ?
I tried a converted slic3r gcode with the knp convertor yesterday and nothing happened. I think the head heated up but nothing printed. Then again I get exactly the same thing with simplify3d and my right extruder.
I'm thinking mayebe it's time to update the firmware.
Haven't tried it with cura yet, but hey I'll have a knp printer soon anyway :-)
