Can you diagnose this print?
Hello,
I have a type A Machines Series 1. I use KISSlicer. I tried pretty much every setting in KISSlicer but I can't seem to fight these issues.
The supports dont fully extrude, neither do small features. I get the extruder thinking its depositing material when it isnt. I changed my suck and prime settings to try and fight this, but if my prime = suck, then it will begin stringing badly as you can see in the picture.
To try and fight the stringing, I turn on wipe and use 4mm for that value. I also tried lowering the temperature to 175 from 185. It still drops out of the nozzle when moving from point to point. The temperature decrease does help, but does not prevent it alltogether.
In the picture I am trying to print out a small doll house for my daughter, to the right you can see little supports so the square windows can be supported when time comes to extrude the roof of the window. I tried almost everything, I am starting to think maybe it's the nozzle. The stringing wont go away, and the small features as you can see in the bottom of the picture, such as small supports, are not fully extruded.
Any input is greatly appreciated. I can show you guys more pictures if you need them for diagnosis.
Thank you,

Whenever I've gotten stringing like that it's when that extruder head is jumping around a lot. My slicer likes to lay down all the supports first, then the actual part, so if I have supports all over the print, it tends to string them, as there is a bit of ooze coming from the tip. How to fix it? I add break off parts of the print to connect the support structures so it prints them in one go. I'm not sure if that's doable for you or not though.
Upload the STL perhaps so we can see the goal?

Try increasing the unprime/suck pulses/amount and dwell time slightly; also try increasing your cooling a little.

Here is another failed print.
I am really getting frustrated, I think it might be the pinchwheel not gripping the filament properly because some teeth broke off the pinchwheel.
I am not sure how to change the suck pulses Davo, I am using KISSlicer, how would I do that?
I have the ability to choose Prime, Suck and Wipe in the destring menu. What values should I use? I am currently using 4mm prime, 4mm suck and 4mm wipe.
Look at this failure, the pinchwheel is just chewing up the filament, im not even sure its clogged because i can push the filament through the hot nozzle by hand.

Thanks Marm, I have a new one on the way. I hope that fixes this problem, I cant think of anything else. I tried messing with every parameter and prints just continue to look like that.
