Is my X Carriage belt too short?
Hi Everyone,
I'm working on my 10" build and it looks like my belt is a little short compared to what I'm seeing in Colin's video. I know it was 33in when cut it and a little more then the 31.25 after being looped.
It looks like maybe there is an inch gap on the right side when I have it fully stretched. Here is a picture of it. http://imgur.com/t1c5ZfX
Thanks for any help.

hard to say, when i was assembling my 12" the extrusions were overhanging the edge by 1/4"
can you shorten the overlap of the loops to gain some length?

I could shorten a little but it wouldn't be much of a gain. The one side has an extremely small loop already.

I guess what I need to do is the X installation step. This way I can see if it was too short. I'm a little confused why it would be so short considering the length I cut the belt. I'll check that out when I get back home and see if it really is too short.
