    Common garden elk

    Hi all.
    This is my first post and first time working with 3D printing.
    I enlisted some help from my friends to create this sculpt that I have worked over with car primer and acrylics and pencil (and a bunch of other media).

    Glen, looks like you have quite a talent there! Your model and finishing look awesome! Interested to see what else you come up with.

    You have produced a very well balanced description of your process. I'm sure that if people followed the sequence they would be helped to model their own objects.

    Well, he's half elk half frog half butterfly and a third dragonfly so I guess the name is immaterial.
    As much as he's not an elk, he's also not common nor garden.

    It does remind me of a critter I've seen in a film though. Just can't remember which film ;-)
