Stratasys and the Strakka racing team have made a very good team, employing 3D printing to change the face of customizing race cars. Due to input, expertise, and 3D printing for the Strakka Dome S103 LMP2 car, Stratasys was the recipient of a trophy for the Motorsport Technology of the Year award from Professional Motorsport Magazine. On the shortlist with three other companies -- Air Titan, EEC, and RaceKeeper -- Stratasys stood out from the rest due to their innovations with 3D printing in motorsports.
