Interesting software available for free download in beta testing
Hey guys- saw this and thought some may benefit from it. This software sounds really interesting- It's called "Make it Stand"and it allows you to distribute the weight of a print to make it balance in a certain position. Check out the video to see:

It's being beta tested and you can download it. I was going to, however, it requires some mathematics software (mosek) which was complicated to install and I don't have it in me to figure it out right now. But thought maybe someone would like it.

Interesting stuff! But I don't like some of the warping of the model it causes. I would assume you could easily get disfigured results. But in the video, the teddy bear and the armadillo do look more natural in a balanced pose. It would be worth looking into if I did modeling like that.
But I bet we could come up with some very weird looking stuff that seems to defy physics
