I consider myself a newbie in 3d printing since my time with printers has been short. My first one was a mendal i3 clone that I built from a kit and spent weeks tweaking and finnaly passed to my son (he's a software geek) to get going. Then I saw the XYZ with "new eyes" and decided for me, it looked like a better match. I've got to say, it's been "out of the box" perfect and the ONLY problems I've encountered were my own making. I added a cartridge resetter to my "toolbox" and have a reel holder on the printer top, feeding any ABS I want to use. I'm getting ready to add PLA to the mix soon, but I really don't expect any problems.

It's not often I suggest that people buy things - if there's ever a problem, you look like a fool, BUT - buy this.

Also, right now Newegg has some incredible combo deals on the v2 model that is two color capable. One of the "deals" came with 13 cartridges of filament for only around $125 more! A week AFTER I ordered mine, of course.
