Thinking the hole in the extruder drive gear might be a touch off center but it is printing. Here is a full shot of the printer.

ANOTHER KOSSEL BUILD! I don't know why every time my son builds a new project, I just have to go and do it too?

Looks great, I like the placement of the screen and other electronics on top.
Looks like Marlin on the screen, right? You might wanna give Repetier a go, I found it has some nice options for delta's ;o)

Thanks, since we spend a lot of time in class and at demonstrations where we are standing behind the bots, I thought the top mount might work out better.
It is Repetier, but I am having some issues getting the board set up. We use Marlin on our Prusa i3s but the Delta Printers fare better with Repetier.

Ah right I didn't recognise the screen, glad to know you came to the same conclusion.

im thinking about a delta style printer, but was wondering...
if i wanted to make a taller printer, making it physically taller is just a matter of buying and installing longer components. but how would the machine know it has extra height now? i guess the same goes for a larger diameter... any help would be appreciated!Last edited by SoCalSteve; 09-19-2014 at 03:37 PM.
