Wierd problem
hello
I have a prusa I3 from makerfarm, it have work goood for me, but now after a while something strange is happening,
it wont print the first layer, the extruder stops to press the filaminent trhu the extruder and hotend, it is not jamed it is the stepper motor that stops,
then when it comes to the second layer it starts again?
any clue what is going on?

Maybe you have it set to use a second extruder that you do not have. Manually check your Gcode.

i checked the code and slicer and it only uses one extruder.
but it must be som error with my gcode.
are there any software that i han test to emulate a print with?

What slicer are you using?

Well monitor your temprature, The chance is pretty big that its going below 170c wich is the minimum set in the Makerfarm printers in the Marlin software.
When it goes below 170c and doesnt go up again, it will simple quit printing (extruding).

Hum now when you say that maby my printer sent down to 169C in one time. But i think it was after it stopped the extruder

You can view what the printer will do using a viewer like http://gcode.ws/. Click on the layer info button and then move the slider on the far right up and down to review each layer. The bottom slider can be moved to follow the head move throughout the selected layer.
Is it intentional that all the layers are 0.35 or 0.4mm in height?Last edited by printbus; 08-28-2014 at 08:48 PM.

Yes it is just a "raw" prototype i printing out. Usually i print in 0.1 but 0.4 for prototyping

Mrluigi had right it was the temeratur sensor that stoped the print so now i puted my fan in the fan jacket so i can adjust the fansped
