Sharebot XXL
We all seem to love the larger 3D printers. After all, the bigger the build envelope, the more we can all print. Sharebot, a company based outside of Milan, Italy, and the best selling 3D printer brand in Italy, has announced a new printer. The Sharebot XXL will be unveiled for the first time next week in London at the 3D Printshow. Below are a few of the general specifications which the company has released thus far:
- Printer Technology:Fused filament fabrication
- Build Envelope: 80 x 20 x 20cm
- Filament Compatibility: Optimized for PLA
Notice the gigantic size of the build length. More details on this new machine can be found here: http://3dprint.com/13062/sharebot-xxl-3d-printer

Seems to me that if you are going to make one with twin vertical screws you could do a lot better than just copying a single screw machine twice. Those screws should be on the ends of the table to remove the cantilever problem of having them at the back, better still would be one screw at each front corner and one screw in the middle at the back, that is the way Stratasys did it initially, before they went through their "make it cheaper" phase

That's pretty sad. It looks like they made a double wide Replicator. And it's two enclosures fastened together.
The "Share" in "Sharebot" is pretty lame too.

surprised they're still going 5 years down the line.
750x250x200 is kind of a weird build volume.
But kudos to them for still being in the business :-)

well for around $5000 plus - given the current market, I doubt there are many out there.
when you consider you could have a leapfrog bolt for the same money or a formbot t-rex plus for half the price.
Unless you really need to print very long thin things, you'll most likely get something else.
