The Next MakerBot Printer - Replicator 3? What will it feature?

Guys, what do you think the next MakerBot printer will be like. With technology advancing so quickly in the 3D Printer industry, what can we realistically expect from the Replicator 3 (or whatever it ends up being called)? When do we expect the next MakerBot printer to come out?

Has MakerBot actually said they have plans for another printer? Is so, when will that be released?

    No they havent said anything,

And as i see it i don't think we can go alot further as extrusion printing goes?
After more hotends, bigger buildvolume, less noise, speed.

Maybe they could come with a Lithography series wich would be a little more expensive (Probably at the 2-3k range)

This is just guessing what the future of 3D printing will bring as every product is getting better as 3D printer models go.

MakerBot developed the Replicators (1, 2, 2X) while they were still private. Now that Stratasys owns them, who knows what the future holds? I am sure they have something up their sleeves for their $617M purchase?

Actually, Apple hates open source. Oh, and isn't subtractive manufacturing a CNC machine??
