Full Scale Imperial Guard Mask
I just finished my Imperial Guard mask and popped it up on Thingiverse, it's 30 pieces, will probably take about 40 hours of printing another 10 of sanding and painting... so if you like Star Wars and like tackling big projects.... give it a go!

Take some progress photos of it as you sand, glue and finish it. We'd all love to see it as you progress and finish it.

The cranium is done, it looks like it should fit ok, what I am most concerned about is the eye level, so when it sits on your shoulders you can actually see where you are going!

OK as promised, I am posting pictures!
The other Day, I got a notification that someone printed this on thingiverse... I thought to myself NO WAY.. I mean, I hoped someone would print it, but not so soon.. This thing took a fair while to model, and I thought for sure no one would actually print it, put it together and paint it before I did, but wow.. this really just blew me away and I had to share it.
I think it's actually more exciting to see someone else print something you have made, the amount of man hours that goes into making one of these isnt small and Ericpark did a smashing job on it, he really did.. It's like he took the picture from my mind of what I wanted it to look like when it was all printed and finished and produced it, 3d printing really is bloody amazing..
The Thingiverse original link is here, the made items have all his pictures from it, ill post a few here. I am not sure what scale he printed it at, he said it turned out a little small but I don't know how big his head is lol, so I am now refining the model with the help of Eric who after all actually has one in his hands he can tell me what needs to be done.
