da Vinci 1.0 AiO & 2.1 AiO All-In One 3D Printers/Scanners - Details Emerge
Hey guys, remember a couple of months ago, following the Inside 3D Printing Conference in NYC, XYZPrinting let a big secret out; that they would be releasing an All-in-one 3d printer/scanner by the end of 2014? Well, new details have just emerged, and an official announcement should be taking place sometime prior to Sunday of this week at Computex 2014 in Taiwan. They will be unveiling 2 new all-in-one printers, the da Vinci 1.0 AiO, and da Vinci 2.1 AiO. Both printers have scanners capable of scanning objects as large as 15 x 15 x 15 cm in size. Just saw that this printer won the Best Innovation award at Computex from TomsGuide.
I'm curious to see how well the scanner works.

XYZPrinting, which unveiled their da Vinci 1.0 AiO (all-in-one) 3D printer in June, has announced that the 3D printer and scanner is now shipping to the US market. At just $799, the da Vinci 1.0 AiO is priced below many similar printers which lack its scanning capabilities. The da Vinci 1.0 AiO uses a proprietary scanning software called XYZScan, which allows users to scan with the click of a button, preview that scan, edit it, and then print out a copy if they choose. The da Vinci 1.0 AiO can be purchased at Amazon, Micro Center, NewEgg and Studica. For more details and specs, check out the full article: http://3dprint.com/21182/xyzprinting-da-vinci-aio-scan/
