TMC 2209 stepper drivers question
I have a Ender 3 pro and am looking at the BIQU SKR 1.4 turbo board. I see where I can purchase that board with 2209 v1.2 stepper drivers. I recently saw online 2209 v3.0 stepper motor drivers sold seperatly by another company. Is it wise to steer clear of v 3.0 until BIQU offers them? Does anyone know benifits of the 3.0 over the 2.1v 2209 drivers?

Well I know that if you are buying them stepper drivers today and haven't yet made your purchase you should probably be looking at TMC2226 drivers instead. They are reworked tmc2209 drivers with better cooling capacity for the stepper driver. These guys right here are the latest and greatest you can get and the price is right as well: BIGTREETECH TMC2226 V1.0 Stepper Motor Driver – Biqu Equipment

Don't forget in marlin you will list them as TMC2209. Haven't seen tmc2225/2226 options in marlin yet but the 2225 is a 2208 and the 2226 is the 2209. Good luck and enjoy the silent printing.
