Enclosure for print performance?
If I get an enclosure for my Prusa, will I get better print performance?

Not out of PLA but maybe out of ABS. What filaments are you printing with?
If you do go the enclosure route with your Prusa you should consider the Ikea lack table enclosure. It is easy, popular, and there are plenty of walk throughs and specific hardware kits just for this effort. There are a few ways of looking at it how it will help. Most assume you are using an enclosure for printing higher performance materials like ABS and PEEK to reduce warping, but there are extra benefits even if you are just printing with PETG or PLA. Don't forget your are protecting your printer from dust and debris like pet hair. Also, the printing process kicks out microplastic dust throughout the room. I would suggest the enclosure can help with your print performance, but it certainly will improve the 3D print experience overall. Here are a few that I make: https://clearviewplastic.com/
