3D Printed Bike Mount, The Clug
The Clug, which is a 3D printable bicycle mount the size of a kiwi fruit has launched a Kickstarter campaign this last week. They are seeking funding so that they can go into mass production with an injection molding process. Early backers of the Clug will receive, as a reward, a 3D printed version of the device as well as an STL file so that they may print the device from the comfort of their own home. They are looking to raise a total of $32,000 CAD within the next 26 days. I think it is not practical for the stated purpose beyond prototyping and printing curiosity.
