Forecebook Ultra 3D, First Croatian 3D Printer
Here is a printer which was just launched yesterday called the Forecebook Ultra 3D. It is made by a company called HGSpot, located in the capital of Croatia. The printer sells for 6999 HRK, which is equal to about $1260. Here are some specs for the new device, which is the very first Croatian made 3D printer:
- Build Volume: 225 mm x 145 mm x 150 mm
- Printer Accuracy: 0.2 mm - 100 mm
- Layer Thickness: 0.15 mm - 0.4 mm
- Print Speeds: 10 mm / s - 120 mm
- Nozzle Size: 0.4 mm
- Extruder Temperature: 180 ° C - 260 ° C
- Materials Available for Print: ABS / PLA

I've seen this design under three other brands, so I don't think it's likely much more than a rebrand. It's the same storage-tub goodness as these three:
Dsword 3D Printer TR-1
3D FreeSculpt
Myriwell
I think the onus on HGSpot is to explain what contribution they made to an already running machine design. I'm betting it's just translation & localization.
It looks like one innovation is that Mac compatibility might have been ditched. That might just be a lack of interest or lack of market to justify localizing the software.Last edited by JRDM; 05-20-2014 at 08:40 AM.
