Kossel Mini Build - Completed
First, a pic of it finished!

Built a Kossel Mini on Friday night. Nothing elaborate....
- standard files
- airtripper
- j-head 1.75 / .5 nozzle
- ramps
- igus rails
- carbon rods / traxxas ends, etc
Got it up and running Friday night with a few decent test prints.

Did a few larger fast prints like this:

But e-steps were off a bit. Got that tuned, re-checked the PID on the hotend....
Test print from yesterday:

Much better! Still need to tweak on a few firmware settings, but it's shaping up nicely!

Yeah, well..... I'm envious and impressed, looks good, good prints and in the background is a ultimaker 2.
I hope the Kossel continues to work well, want to share any words of wisdom?

Words of wisdom? Make sure it's all assembled as well as possible. Everything tight, extrusions up against plastic bits tightly, etc. Get your sliders / endstops set to the same height as close as possible before you ever start calibrating. I'm still chasing a few issues, and will be testing some new bits in the next week or two, so I'll post some updates. A new design for a heated bed, an LCD controller, etc....
And yeah, that's a U2 in the background. On the same table is an older i3 ( https://www.flickr.com/photos/jabell...57633957218115 ) and a modded Rep1XL ( https://www.flickr.com/photos/jabell...57631867590921 )
Printer will print perfect...
