Blobby Prints since changing nozzle
Something I like about my Sidewinder X1 is it just always worked. Then one day, after successfully printing a part, I started it doing the same part again from the same file and it ground the nozzle into the glass print bed. The nozzle was so jammed, I couldn't get it clear, so I ordered a new one from alien3d.us.
Since changing the nozzle, my prints get blobs of sometimes scorched plastic on them. Often the print head hits one of these knocking the part off the base.

it's partially blocked.
OR the feed tube is not going all the way to the top of the nozzle.
You need to remove the new nozzle and make sure that the ptfe tube (or metal tube) is still pushed all the way to the top of the new nozzle.
When taking these things apart it's really easy to move the feedtube.

Hmm. If the tube was not out of whack before, it is now!71.gif
