Help with solving under-extrusion on a Wanhao Duplicator i3
As you can see in the picture, it starts good, but ends in tragedy.

I have tried most things I have found in different forums.
I have:
- dehydrated the filament (ePLA)
- increased nozzle temp (currently on 220 deg Celsius)
- decreased speeds (infill at 40mm/s, walls at 20mm/s)
- added z-axis stabilizers
- reduced retraction distance and speed (25mm/s and 1.5mm)
- added a filament cleaner/lubricator (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:492067), now it smells like popcors from the veg. oil everytime I print.
Any ideas?

Hi, I have just replied to another thread with a similar comment, I had massive under extrusion issues that turned out to be a combination of improper cooling on the heather assembly, as well as a dodgy throat tube. My printer would be fine if I disable retraction, but with this enabled I was getting heat creep that would cause a blockage. I could remove the blocked filament easily enough, but the next print would then do the same thing. If printing without retraction does not cause a blockage, check that the nozzle has been properly heat tightened and that the heat break is correctly set. Watching some videos on youtube about heat creep may resolve this.
