    You can clean the bearing in any solvent or using plain alcohol, alcohol is what I use to clean my bearings in a shallow dish.

    I also use canned solvent or de-greaser.

    No!!!

    Though they are quite handy on some occasions it is a purchase that is required.
    You can use a splashing motion or fill a Spray bottle and get the bearing clean.

    I 3D Print Fidget Spinners for Halloween every year and use roller skate bearings.
    These bearings are packed with grease and fidgets spin faster with no grease.
