3D Printed Obi-Wan Kenobi Lightsaber
Star Wars Day was yesterday so what a better way to celebrate a day late than to print out your very own Obi-Wan Kenobi Lightsaber. It may seem like a daunting task, considering it can take up to 25-35 hours or so to print all the pieces on an average 3D printer, but some of these prints, once painted look just like a real Lightsaber from Star Wars.
The actually files for the lightsaber can be downloaded free of charge at the following Youmagine url: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/star-wars-lightsaber
The images below show some of the painted versions of the 3D printing work of art. What do you guys think? Pretty cool, huh?
Here is the unpainted 3d printed version:
Now here is a picture of the original lightsaber from the Star Wars Movies:

Here is one my son printed this week to celebrate May the 4th, and the upcoming movie. That is my grandson dressed up at R2D2.
